Origin of resveratrol!

One may be amused to know that resveratrol is definitely not going to be produced naturally, until and unless the muscadine grapes are attacked by a fungus. That is the time when the defense system of the plant goes on red alert and starts producing this anti-biotic. Well, if it works for plants, it is definitely going to work for human beings. Also, the amount of resveratrol is going to depend upon how long the grape skin had soaking in the wine during fermentation. That is the reason why red grape wine has higher concentrations of resveratrol in it, when compared to white wine.

The Cardiovascular Effects Of Resveratrol Wine

Being one of the most effective natural antioxidants going, resveratrol prevents the formation of lipidproteins. It also helps in preventing arteriosclerosis, because it reduces the aggregation of platelets in the blood.

Prevention of cancer due to antioxidant effect
